Description

EUROPRIME SB is a premium quality, quick drying solvent based bitumen primer. It acts as a primer and sealer coal for masonry and concrete to improve the bonding of bituminous materials.

Uses

Used as a primer coat prior to the application of waterproofing membranes.

Application

The surface must be clean and free of oil, grease and any other loosely adhering particles. The surface must be dry before priming with EUROPRIME SB. The primer can be applied straight from the container with standard brushes, squeegees, roller or spray equipment. The primer should be allowed to dry naturally before the application of subsequent layers

Coverage

**7 m2/Liter/coat However the coverage will depend on the porosity of the substrate. In order to ascertain the exact coverage, it is suggested a trial application is carried out at site.

 Storage
The drums should be stored under a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and protected from extreme temperature. The shelf life of the product is up to *2 months if stored as per the recommended. Failure to comply with the instruction may result in premature deterioration of the product.

Health & Safety

EUROPRIME SB contains volatile solvent with a low flash point (*8 C0). It should be kept far away naked from flame and flame. Avoid inhalation of vapors and ensure there is adequate ventilation in the work place. Gloves, protective masks and goggles should be worn during application. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
